Day 107, Cintsa East - Durban

Rose early to watch a Super 12 Otago victory in a Cintsa West bar and included a full cooked breakfast. Set off again in overcast, drizzly conditions. Soon entered the Transkei region displaying third world civilisation amongst first world neighbours. The former homelands region was littered with makeshift houses on undulating farmlands. Stopped in dingy Umtata for Steers lunch. It was a long drive, reaching built-up Durban at 6.30 pm. Booked into central Banana Backpackers hostel before a few drinks and a walk to beachfront to Joe Kool's bar. Fun night, got a bit lost walking home.
