A Travellerspoint blog

Day 97, Stellenbosch

Not much of a sleep-in before we were off on our wine tour. We were reluctantly sampling fine wines by 11.00 am. But we soon got in the mood. It provided a good view of the city and picturesque suburbs with many vineyards nestled in to valleys. Lunch was a pizza at Vineyard #3 - accompanied with more tastings and schnapps. It was a gun day getting tiddly in the heat and sampling fine wines. Returned at 5.00 pm and had a quick swim before encouraging the boys to hit town - Cooch slept. Met some others at a pub and drunk more before dancing at Fat Boys. Returned to watch cricket.
